We took on the site to deliver 24 high-quality bungalows, including a specially adapted three-bedroom property and four additional properties across two outlying sites, catering for a variety of housing needs.
We needed to balance this project alongside other ongoing construction projects and also had to engage with sub-contractors and suppliers who had been let down by the previous contractor.
Our staff fostered good relationships with contractors and trades to ensure a good supply chain was provided, not only for this site but future developments as well.
The site’s location was on a residential street posed challenges related to traffic management, safety, and minimising disruptions to the local community during construction.
The Market Close project is an example of how quick decision-making, collaborative leadership, and a proactive approach can overcome significant challenges in construction.
“I like everything about it, everything. There must have been so much planning behind the scenes to get these gardens and how they have designed it, and all the older people can be on the flat and not miles away from the shops.” – Market Close tenant
