Dragonfly are delighted to share that all the audits done on the organisation to date have had successful outcomes, with either reasonable or substantial reassurance that there are adequate controls in place across our operations and processes.

Dragonfly is committed to delivering excellence, protecting the council’s financial position and being accountable and socially responsible in all of our service areas:

Expenses and Allowances (SUBSTANTIAL)

To ensure that expenses and allowances are legitimate and paid promptly and accurately

Gas Servicing (REASONABLE) 

To ensure that there is a process in place to meet legislative requirements in terms of the gas servicing of council houses -

Payroll (REASONABLE)  

To ensure that staff are paid timely and accurately, reconciliations are undertaken and payments to third parties are prompt and correct -

Housing Repairs (REASONABLE)

To ensure that the housing repairs process is operating effectively and is appropriate

Property Compliance (REASONABLE)

To ensure that in respect of the Council’s corporate assets legislative requirements are met in terms of electrical, gas, legionella, asbestos and fire risk

Insurance (SUBSTANTIAL)

To ensure that appropriate insurances are in place

Creditors (SUBSTANTIAL)

To ensure that invoices are paid accurately and promptly and are supported by a purchase order

As a wholly owned company of Bolsover District Council, Dragonfly is regularly audited and is governed by a Board of Directors.
